Live From Big Thicket

Live From Big Thicket is a concert/vinyl series designed to perform and capture music in a unique and intimate form.

Big Thicket is a small cabin on White Rock Lake in Dallas, TX. It holds a maximum of 50 people including the band, the production crew and the audience. It doesn’t have a stage, a PA system or a bar.

When a band plays in this cabin the audience gets a truly one of kind experience. Rather than being separated by a stage and amplified by a PA system the band performs on level ground with the audience, and mixes their sound through their own personal performance.

In return the audience gets to experience a one of a kind performance that could only be more intimate if the band had come to their home and played in their living room.

There is no studio magic, no second takes and no edits.  With a "Live From Big Thicket" vinyl you will be immersed in a rare performance that will never be repeated.  You will hear the performance from start to finish exactly as it was performed by the band and heard by the audience. 

Other than the occasional promotional single or video, these albums will only be available on vinyl records. The full albums will not be released in any other form except for vinyl.

Brave Little Howl is the first band to perform for this series. Unfortunately, COVID 19 has placed a hold on our attempt to host the second one. Once we are allowed to host shows again we will. Please sign up for the email list to know when the next “Live From Big Thicket” concert will happen.
